A beer to suit every palate: Greetings from Berlin…

Young and cheerful. Lively and high-spirited. Jaunty and unmistakable. Like the German capital. Like Berlin. The beers of the Berliner-Kindl-Schultheiss-Brauerei are as multi-faceted as the Spree metropolis itself.

The company

The Berliner-Kindl-Schultheiss-Brauerei is one of the major breweries in Berlin and the former East German states. The brewery, which is located in the capital, focuses on brand variety rather than on monoculture.

The brands

As partners to around 6,000 establishments in the Berlin-Brandenburg region, the delicately bitter, tangy Berliner Pilsner, the classic Berliner Kindl and the fresh, spicy Schultheiss are among the top catering brands.

Berliner Pilsner is the youthful, delicately tangy-bitter metropolitan brand "Made in Berlin". Under this tagline, the pulsating metropolis is affectionately portrayed in scenes on national TV and regionally on posters. Berliner Pilsner is at the centre of sporting and cultural events such as the Berlinale or the Goldene Kamera, the Berlin Marathon and the EHC Eisbaeren and not simply on the fringes. "Kindl" has maintained close ties to its hometown of Berlin for over 130 years. United under the brand umbrella are the traditional, well-established Berliner Kindl Pils and the extra-fine hopped Berliner Kindl Jubilaeums Pilsener, as well as numerous other beer specialities such as Berliner Kindl Export, Berliner Kindl Radler and Berliner Kindl Weisse. Berliner Kindl participates actively in sports with the ALBA Berlin basketball players, takes centre stage at the Kindl-Buehne arena and rings in the New Year at the Brandenburger Tor. Both traditional and modern - as a typical Berlin beer, Schultheiss combines good old-fashioned brewing tradition with the demands of the modern age. The celebrated Berliner Sechstagerennen and the Schultheiss Traber Derby are annual diary dates for this fresh and spicy traditional brand.
