Brand Story

What makes Jever (“yay-ver”) Pilsner unique?

We come from a pretty small town in northern Germany called Jever. Chances are, you haven’t heard of us. The truth is, if it weren’t for our beer, most Germans wouldn’t have either.

But, our beer’s unique taste and character, made up of crisp bitterness, hoppy flavor and dry finish have carried the Jever name far and wide.

Michael Jackson’s The New World Guide to Beer calls it, “the only **** four star pilsner in Germany.” And while we proudly stand by that title, we also like to call it something else – true Jever refinement.

Defined Character

Friesland is a place where the seas are rough and the wind is strong. It’s not for everyone, but it’s a great place to brew a beer. Just like the environment around it, Jever’s tart taste is strong. We call it a real man’s beer. But, of course, you don’t have to go to sea or plow a frozen field to appreciate its heritage. All you have to do, is try it. Then, you’ll understand why its taste and character make us so proud.

Jever is available in the varieties Pilsener and Fun (non-alcoholic).
